Bachelorseminar Environmental Economics
Learning objectives
The Bachelor's seminar serves as direct preparation for the Bachelor's thesis, which is written during the course of the programme. The aim of the course is to impart theoretically sound knowledge of environmental economics. On the basis of central microeconomic theories, students should be able to independently identify and analyse problems of the given topics and make possible recommendations for action or policy on the basis of theoretical and empirical studies. The seminar paper represents a literature research and is intended to practise dealing with international, English-language journal articles. By working on the topics as a group, the students' teamwork skills will also be promoted. A final presentation on the seminar topic is also intended to improve presentation skills.
Registration takes place via the KIS Office (WS 2023/24).
