Optimization of Logistics Systems
The course is aimed at providing an overview of the quantitative methods that can be used to support the optimal design and management of modern logistics systems. Special attention will be devoted to the demand analysis and data procurement, to the design of logistic networks and to the optimization of long distance and local transportation of freights. Illustrative examples of models and algorithms will be treated by using general purpose and special solvers.

If you want to participate in Optimization of Logistics Systems then please make sure that the following conditions are met.
- You have registered in KIS.
- You have logged in to Olat at least once, using your university account (i.e., through Shibboleth).
- The profile of your Olat university account must still be associated with your @rptu.de (or @rhrk.uni-kl.de) email address.
If these conditions are met, you will be added directly to the corresponding Olat course during the first week of the lecture period.
