Topics
The topics for final theses are basically oriented towards the research topics of the supervising employees of our chair and cover a broad spectrum of current problems in sustainability management. For bachelor theses we provide these topics, for master theses we can also suggest own topics, as long as they fit into the research topics of the chair's staff. Occasionally, specific master's theses are also advertised

Allocation
For all students (Bachelor & Master) who have their theses supervised or are interested in doing so, participation in the Sustainability Research Seminar is mandatory. All theses must also comply with the guidelines for the preparation of scientific papers of the chair.
Bachelor theses are assigned at two dates per year as part of the central assignment procedure of the Department of Business and Economics. For optimal preparation it is recommended to attend our bachelor seminar in advance.
Master theses are assigned directly by the Chair of Sustainability Management. Prerequisite for the assignment of a master thesis is the successful participation in our master seminar. The application takes place via an application form in the OLAT course. Prerequisite for the assignment of a master thesis is the successful participation in our master seminar. The topics for theses are generally based on the research topics of the supervisors of our department. Details about the research topics can be found on the corresponding pages of Cynthia Friedrich and Carolin Langhauser. On the other hand, own suggestions for topics are also possible in consultation with us, as long as they can be assigned to the research approach of the chair.

All scientific papers that are written at our institute must comply with the guidelines for the scientific papers of the chair. For work with Word we also provide a format template in .docx file format which corresponds to these guidelines (no guarantee).

Via the DigiBib you can search the library catalogue of the TU Kaiserslautern and large library catalogues and databases from all over the world in parallel. Books and articles from other libraries can usually be ordered via interlibrary loan (chargeable).
The University Library also offers you various possibilities to access electronically available journals. You can find various links and an explanation of how to access the TU network from home on the corresponding pages of the UL-Hompage.
For a targeted keyword search we recommend the use of scientific databases. The easiest way to access them is via the Database-Infosystem (DBIS) of the UL.
For an easier orientation we have compiled an overview ofjournals related to sustainability in which you can search for scientific literature. The list includes the most recent jourqual-rating and the impact factor (if available). We make no claim to the completeness or correctness of the information in this list.
