The Chair of Business Administration, in particular Sustainability Management at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern is working on the BMBF-funded joint project “ReziProK- Joint project: All-polymer fiber reinforcement to increase the resource efficiency of high-quality, fully recyclable plastic products - TP 5: Ecology, business model research and transfer”. The project, which was launched in September 2019, addresses the challenge facing the plastics industry of increasing the resource efficiency of plastics and, in particular, helping to increase the use of secondary plastics. As part of the joint project, the ecological sustainability effects of recycling cycles are to be analyzed and new business models identified as a business management approach. Building on this, ecological and socio-economic implications are to be derived for the transfer to system level on the basis of the compared cycles. The sub-project is intended to contribute to the transdisciplinary development of solutions for circular economy challenges.
