Chris Vollmer joins the SIC Chair

We are delighted that Chris Vollmer has joined the chair. Chris completed his Bachelor's degree at the TU Kaiserslautern (Industrial Engineering with Mechanical Engineering) and is returning to his alma mater after completing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Since 2020, he has worked at DFKI / SmartFactoryKL, in the ‘Mittelstand-Digitalzentrum’ project as a project engineer for AI projects and is now project manager in the ‘TWIN4TRUCKS’ funding project, in the context of which he is also planning to write his dissertation. Chris' passion for football - as a player and FCK fan - will also continue to fuel the team.
