Successful kick-off of the practical part of the “Managing Interorganizational Relations” event with Smart FactoryKL / the German Center for Artificial Intelligence

The practice-oriented part of the Master's course “Managing Interorganizational Relations” started on 20 May at the Chair of Strategy, Innovation and Cooperation of Prof. Dr. Gordon Müller-Seitz. In close cooperation with SmartFactoryKL and the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), students work on real challenges at the interface of research, technology and practice.

The case study was presented by Chris Vollmer, doctoral student at the chair, and Dr. Jonas Metzger, alumnus of the chair and head of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Kaiserslautern. Both will accompany the students during the processing phase.

The focus is on the application of scientific concepts for the design and management of interorganizational relationships to specific issues from the SmartFactoryKL ecosystem - such as coordination mechanisms, governance structures and innovation-promoting networks.

The kick-off underlines the transfer orientation of the chair: our students learn how theoretical approaches can be applied to real practical problems during their studies - and thus actively contribute to solving current challenges.
