Recap Hannovermesse 2026

Last week, our research assistant Angelina Horbach represented the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum in Kaiserslautern at HANNOVER MESSE 2026.
At the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum stand in Hall 27, Stand B35, she and her colleagues presented the DIRKI demonstrator, which helps small and medium-sized enterprises to experience different levels of digitalisation and AI maturity through a practical quality assessment process.
Another highlight of the programme was her presentation on the BMWE stage in Hall 11. There, she demonstrated why cyberattacks no longer affect only large companies, but also pose a real challenge for small and medium-sized enterprises – and what protective measures companies can take.
We are delighted that, as the Chair of Strategy, Innovation and Cooperation, we are able to contribute to the exchange of ideas on digitalisation, artificial intelligence and cyber security in SMEs through the Mittelstand-Digital Centre in Kaiserslautern.
