AI: Between Progress and Responsibility: Insights from Research and Practice
In the latest interview in Controller Magazine, the opportunities, risks and potential applications of artificial intelligence are discussed – ranging from data-driven business models and predictive maintenance to issues of governance and accountability. The focus is on a practice-oriented approach: research into AI, innovation and digital transformation is translated into concrete solutions in collaboration with companies and industry partners. In the interview by Alfred Biel with Professor Müller-Seitz, particular emphasis is placed on the collaborations between the Chair of Strategy, Innovation and Cooperation and the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence, SmartFactoryKL and the Mittelstand-Digital Centre in Kaiserslautern.
The interview also demonstrates how Kaiserslautern is positioning itself as a hub for practical AI innovation and knowledge transfer between academia, SMEs and industry.
