Professor Steininger once again among the 100 most productive researchers worldwide

In the recently published 2024 edition of the AIS Research Ranking, Prof. Dr. Dennis Steininger from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau is ranked 95th among the world's top researchers in IS.*

The AIS Research Ranking analyzes and publishes the publication performance of academics every year. The Association for Information Systems (AIS) is the global association for research and teaching in the fields of digitalization and information systems. The AIS Senior Scholars' Basket is used to measure research performance for the ranking. It contains the eight leading international journals for digitalization research.

Professor Steininger was also included in the rankings in previous years' editions:
2023 Edition: Rank 87* 
2022 Edition: Rank 139* 
2021 edition: Rank 146* 

What makes Professor Steininger's research so successful? His research topics are practical, innovative and future-oriented. In current projects, for example, he is working on the influence of digital technologies on the success or failure of start-ups and their financing or the success factors of digital platforms.
