Qualitative Methods in Practice – Collaboration with the Pfalzgalerie Museum in Kaiserslautern
How can visitor experiences be better understood and designed?
As part of the Qualitative Methods course (taught by Prof. Anja Danner-Schröder, Prof. Gordon Müller-Seitz and Angelina Horbach), our students have the opportunity to explore precisely this question – in collaboration with the Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern museum.
To kick things off, there was an exclusive guided tour of the museum, which not only offered fascinating insights into the exhibitions but also served as a starting point for the subsequent task: based on their own data collection, the students are developing ideas on how the visitor experience and visitor journey can be enhanced.
A great example of how research, teaching and practice can be combined – and how students learn to apply qualitative methods directly.
🙏 Many thanks to Steffen Egle and Benjamin Kosar for their collaboration and the fascinating insights!
