This week marked the closing event of our “Qualitative Methods” course (Prof. Anja Danner-Schröder, Prof. Gordon Müller-Seitz), in which our students were able to gain hands-on experience with qualitative research throughout the semester.

In collaboration with the Pfalzgalerie Kaiserslautern, the students collected their own data, conducted interviews, observed on-site, and systematically analyzed their findings. The final presentations impressively demonstrated how valuable direct access to a real-world setting is for learning qualitative methods.

A heartfelt thank you to the Pfalzgalerie, Steffen Egle, and Benjamin Kosar for their open collaboration

👏 We are especially pleased about the invitation extended to our students to attend a kickoff event this fall. The event will focus on specific changes at the Pfalzgalerie, for which our students’ findings will serve as an important foundation.

This is a wonderful example of how teaching, research, and practice can work together. 🌟
