The Chair of Entrepreneurship will be represented at ECIS 2026 with two research projects
The European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS) is the flagship conference of the Association for Information Systems in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The conference offers an integrative platform for researchers in the fields of information systems, digitalization, and innovation, and in 2026 will focus on the theme “Reimagining Digital Technology for Business, Management, and Society.”
From our department, the current projects by Prof. Dr. Steininger, Lena Erber, and Ana Ortiz de Guinea Lopez de Arana on “From knowledge loss to knowledge leverage: How GenAI affordances transform post-merger IS integration,“ as well as the project by Prof. Dr. Steininger, Kathrin Weber, and Gregory Vial on ”Navigating AI choices: A taxonomy of decision factors on AI use case selection."
Furthermore, Kathrin Weber was accepted as one of only 20 participants for the ECIS 2026 Doctoral Consortium.
