'ESG Reporting and Governance": Guest lecture in the lecture 'International Accounting for Decision Makers'.

As part of the event 'International Financial Reporting for Decision-Makers', we were pleased to welcome Bernhard Thomes, Timo Drepper and Annika Fickert from EY on 24.01.2023 for an exciting guest lecture on the topic of "ESG Reporting & Steering".

Against the background of increasing external reporting obligations of sustainability information (caused e.g. by the CSRD), companies will not only have to comply with more comprehensive reporting in the future, but also integrate sustainability into internal steering and many decision-making processes. The presentation showed the students the concrete challenges that companies are currently facing in this context. In addition, the students were able to exchange ideas and network with the practitioners in person over a cup of coffee afterwards.
