Teaching at the Chair of Accounting
Accounting takes a prominent role within the field of business administration, because - as the "language of business" - it enables transparent and comprehensible communication of companies' economic activities and thus enables stakeholders of companies - for example current and prospective investors - to make good decisions. The basic learning objective, from which our teaching content is derived, is to provide students with the necessary skills to work with accounting information, that is, to understand it and to be able to appropriately apply it in decision-making.
We offer courses on Bachelor and Master level and soon also in the structured doctoral program of the department.
