The master's seminar "New Technology and Current Trends in Accounting" offered in the summer semester targets students taking the major "Financial Management and Accounting" with a strong interest in accounting. The content of the seminar is focused around current issues of digitalization in accounting.

To apply for the seminar, please enroll in KIS by the deadline (by the start of the lecture period of the summer semester) and send an e-mail to accounting@wiwi.rptu.de.

The topics specified by the chair will be assigned to the participating students in an obligatory kick-off meeting, taking students' preferences into account as much as possible. Further session will take place, in which important basics will be taught and participants themselves will give short presentations on their topics.

Finally, participants work out a proposal in a written seminar paper in order to answer a research question they have worked out themselves. Participation in the master's seminar is a prerequisite for writing a master's thesis at the chair.
