Short guidance how to include courses of the UniGR in the major "Financial  Management and Accounting"

Through the University of the Greater Region (UniGR), students at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau have the opportunity to attend and complete courses at partner universities in the Greater Region. Further information and the members of the UniGR are listed under the following link:

https://mv.rptu.de/studium-lehre/universitaet-der-grossregion-unigr.

Please note that a maximum of 10 ECTS per semester or 20 ECTS per year may be earned by students at a UniGR partner university. In order to have the courses recognized, a Learning Agreement must be completed a few weeks before the start of the semester, which must be signed by Prof. Bauch or Prof. Azevedo as the "Financial Management and Accounting" supervisor on the one hand and by the organizers at the UniGR partner university or the academic examination office on the other hand. You can find the Learning Agreement using the following link:

https://www.uni-gr.eu/sites/tst-uni-gr.univlorraine.fr/files/users/documents/etudiants/unigr_learning_agreement_editable.pdf.

You should get in touch with the chair (the one that is closer to the respective course in terms of content in advance. Furthermore, it should be noted that the selected course (typically of a chair with similar similar specialization at a UniGR partner university) must fit topic wise to the major and the content should not have any overlap with courses from the major as far as possible (e.g., a course on the IFRS may not be completed at RPTU as well as at a UniGR partner university). You should also check whether the exam at the UniGR partner university corresponds to that at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau (e.g., a written exam at RPTU and an oral exam at the UniGR partner university for the corresponding course), which is why it is typically necessary to compare the module handbooks. Otherwise, recognition could become complicated under certain circumstances. If the Learning Agreement has been issued, the enrolment deadline at the respective UniGR partner university must be checked and a secondary enrolment must be applied for. In addition to the application for secondary enrolment, the enrolment certificate or student ID of the home university, proof of health insurance and a passport photo must be sent to the relevant examination office. Further information on this can be found in the UniGR Mobility Guide, in which all contact persons for enrolment at the partner universities, for the recognition of academic achievements and for all practical and organizational questions are addressed:

https://www.uni-gr.eu/en/unigr-student.

After successful completion of the course(s), the student must have the ECTS earned certified in a "Transcript of Records", which can be issued by the examination office of the corresponding UniGR partner university. Subsequently, the student must submit the Transcript of Records and the Learning Agreement to the Examinations Office of the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
