The module Business Administration III: Intelligence, Logistics and Operations (WIW-BWL-GBWLIII-M-1) and the modules from section B.2. Business profile areas of the Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management in accordance with the examination regulations for the Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management dated June 15, 2021 in the latest version with a total of 24 CP can be selected as compulsory elective modules in economics. Due to content overlaps with the two compulsory basic modules or due to the business orientation of the Bachelor's degree program, only one of these may not be selected:

The coursework and examinations to be completed can be found in the examination regulations for the Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management dated 15 June 2021 and the latest version of the associated module handbook.

The module grade is calculated by forming the weighted average of the individual grades, taking into account the credit points of the respective examinations.

 

The specialization modules in Business Administration and Economics listed in Annex 1 of the examination regulations for the Master's degree course in Industrial Engineering and Management dated 30.05.2022 in the latest version under B must be completed for a total of at least 22 CP. In deviation from the regulation in the Master's degree program in Industrial Engineering and Management, the modules must be selected from two different focus areas and a total of at least 9 CP per focus area. The specializations can come from different profile areas. The compulsory Master's seminar of 4 CP
must be completed in one of the two chosen specializations. The coursework and examinations to be completed in the Business and Economics profile area can be found in the Master's examination regulations for Industrial Engineering and Management and the associated module handbook in the latest version.
as amended from time to time. The grade for this section is made up of 30% of the grade for the Master's seminar and 70% of the arithmetic mean of the grades for the individual modules from the two specializations.

Choice

Any modules can be selected from a maximum of 3 Master's specializations in economics with a total of 16 ECTS credits. Bachelor's modules required as a prerequisite for this, which have not already been completed as part of the Bachelor's degree program, can be completed in the Master's degree with a maximum of 6 ECTS credits. A maximum of one seminar may be chosen.
