These specialisations are supplemented by compulsory modules in qualitative and quantitative methods as well as a free elective area. Our aim is to sharpen your skills in business and economic methods and to provide you with both academic and practice-orientated training in your chosen areas of specialisation. An essential part of the Master's degree programme is research-based learning, which is encouraged through seminars, possible research projects and your Master's thesis.
With a completed Master's degree, you not only have the opportunity to do a doctorate, but you will also be ideally prepared for demanding positions at specialist and management levels. Your academic journey with us will be characterised by a variety of learning opportunities that will prepare you for a successful future in the professional world.
The following important modules await you during your Master's degree programme: You will learn about qualitative and quantitative research methods in the compulsory modules, which will provide you with a solid methodological basis. The programme also includes three economics specialisations that will deepen your expertise in various subject areas. In addition, seminars offer you the opportunity to apply and expand your knowledge in practice.
To give you a real-world perspective, a business internship is a compulsory part of the programme. Here you can put your theoretical knowledge to the test in practice and gain valuable insights into the world of work. There is also the option to take part in a research project to deepen your skills in scientific work.
Your Master's degree course lasts four semesters, during which you will experience and internalise all of these facets. The final part of the programme is your Master's thesis in economics, in which you can demonstrate your expertise. This degree not only opens doors to new career opportunities, but also demonstrates your mastery of the course content.
