We would like to congratulate Marco Kiehl on receiving this year's ProAlpha Group GmbH study award for his outstanding master's thesis on the topic:
"Digitalization and sustainability: smart products and their digital twin as enablers of the circular economy".

The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Göbel and Yannick Juresa from the Chair of Virtual Product Development (VPE) at RPTU in Kaiserslautern. In her laudatory speech, Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul praised Marco's impressive achievement and his innovative combination of digitalization and sustainability.
