Digitalization and sustainability are key issues in today's society. Companies and institutions can no longer avoid digital transformation. The question is not only whether digital transformation automatically leads to greater sustainability. After all, the increasing digitalization of processes or the use of AI often means high energy consumption and the use of valuable resources. It is also necessary to train employees accordingly in order to manage the transformation.
The Twin Transformation research approach takes a closer look at how the social, ecological and economic dimensions of sustainability and thus a sustainable transformation can be considered in harmony with the digital transformation. How digitalization, AI and sustainability support each other, when the use of digitalization can potentially advance sustainable transformation and which dimensions of sustainability need to be considered in digital transformation are some of the questions we want to ask ourselves at the upcoming Twin Transformation Summit.
Highlights of the summit:

- Interdisciplinary discussion panel on sustainable and digital transformation
