Our doctoral students presented at the SIG DITE in Miami

From November 16-17, the AIS SIG DITE paper development workshop at the University of Miami took place  - an exclusive workshop for researchers in the field of digital innovation, transformation, and entrepreneurship. Once applied with a current research project, one could hope to be selected to discuss his or her work with the great minds of our field. Our doctoral students Giuliano Ciavarrella and Lena Erber were lucky enough to be one of them.

Highlights of the event:

💡 Over 50 participants, including 14 esteemed mentors, from all over the world gathered in Miami to share their ideas, leading lively discussions across seniority levels.

💡 Suprateek Sarker held an an exceptional keynote followed by an insightful panel discussion on Theorizing DITE Phenomena with Nina (Ni) Huang, Jan Recker, Nick Berente and Youngjin Yoo.

💡 The opportunity to present our work on managing digital resources in M&A (Lena) and on the effect of hype in startup funding (Giuliano) among 27 truly inspiring papers and a diverse set of researchers.

Our students are very grateful to the AIS community for this opportunity - especially to the organizers Ola Henfridsson, Robert Wayne Gregory, Katharina Drechsler and Julian Lehmann!
