Necessary first-time registration of the Bachelor thesis
The first registration for the Bachelor's thesis is set for the end of the tenth semester. If the first submission has not taken place by the end of the twelfth semester or is deemed not to have taken place, the Bachelor's thesis is deemed to have been failed for the first time.
Additional benefits from the Master's degree in the Bachelor's degree
New regulation to amend § 23 of the examination regulations
The previous option of "early Master's degrees" is not compatible with the Hochschulgesetz (HochSchG) of 23.9.2020
As a result, the Senate Commission for Quality in Teaching and Learning decided to amend Section 23, which allows students to complete additional coursework and examinations as part of their Bachelor's degree in exceptional cases. Subject to available capacity, students may, upon application and until the end of the examination period of the semester in which they have passed the Bachelor's examination, take additional coursework and examinations as so-called "additional achievements". This also includes achievements that are not part of a Bachelor's degree program.
