Study award of the PROAlpha Group
Prize money: 2000 EUR
Selection and award criteria
- The ProAlpha Group donates a sum of 2,000 euros to honour outstanding academic achievements.
- The prize is awarded for outstanding achievements in the main study programme, whereby extracurricular commitment is also taken into account when awarding the prize.
- The prize can be awarded to students who have completed their exams at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in the past academic year in the subjects of industrial engineering, business administration or business administration with a technical qualification and who have completed their Master's thesis in a business or law subject. Candidates may be nominated by a professor in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics. Candidates may also submit their own application.
- The selection is made by a committee consisting of two professors from the Department of Economics, a student, a research assistant and a representative of the ProAlpha Group. The committee is chaired by a professor. Votes are decided by a majority of the votes cast.
- The prize is awarded during an academic ceremony.
- Depending on the number of applicants, the prize can also be divided equally between several prizewinners.
